When I connected with Julie, I immediately saw the heart behind Culture Spot LA, a vision to highlight the best of Los Angeles’ arts and culture in a way that felt authentic, thoughtful, and welcoming. Together, I set out to reimagine culturespotla.com not just as a website, but as a living space for stories, reviews, and events that inspire the city’s creative community.
The challenge? Transform an outdated site into a modern, easy-to-navigate platform while preserving years of valuable content. That meant streamlining the layout, improving performance, and creating a design that could showcase articles and event listings without overwhelming readers. Through close collaboration with Julie, we blended her editorial vision with our expertise to create a platform that both honors Culture Spot LA’s history and supports its growth.
